The Silicon Valley New Technology Meetup is a community of 6,000 people in the San Francisco Bay Area who share interests in startups, technology, and innovation. We get together in Palo Alto on the first Tuesday of each month to showcase four new companies and network. Vinnie Lauria
Founder
Vinnie is the founder of SVNewTech. He also co-founded Lefora.com and Tal.ki - both are forum hosting services for communities on the web. In less than 3 years, Lefora grew to over 100,000 communities and was acquired by CrowdGather in 2010.
Before Lefora, he quit the corporate world of IBM to move out to Silicon Valley and was living & working out of the same downtown Palo Alto apartment building the location-aware app Meetro.

Organizer
Nisha is a Co-Organizer of SVNewTech. She works at Dyyno.com, an online video platform startup based in Palo Alto. Prior to Dyyno, she worked at Cisco, IBM, and Trianz Consulting. You can follow her on Twitter @nishers.
